A Video Full of ME!!!!

Thank you to all who greeted me today.

I feel very grateful to have the family that I have,
the gang I call my friends,
job that is not really work,
gifts that are true treasures
 and
 daughters called Jody and Jacqui.

I LOVE MY LIFE BECAUSE OF YOU ALL.

Dressing Up The Ballroom.

Ingress is always such hard work. That's why we decided to hire Robert Blancaflor Group once again for the 35th Anniversary of Jul B. Dizon and Janina for Jul Dizon's 6th Anniversary.

I went to peek at the ballroom right after work and saw that the draping has already been done.

They were also fixing and wiring up all the lighting.

Robert decided to push the envelope and create a hanging buffet table.

Once it was up and stable, Manong gets on top of it and starts painting. Just shows how sturdy the table is despite having no legs.

The themed walls were in place by dinner time.

And just before midnight, my booth was already done. That means, Robert and I can go up to our rooms and rest.

When I came down the next morning, except for minor details, Rigodon Ballroom was transformed into something called fabulous.

The suspended buffet table was breathtaking...

....especially with all the flowers on it!!!

I was able to grab a few sandwiches at the end of the evening and what I had, I liked!!! Hope the guests were happy with the spread that The Peninsula Manila provided!

This is Elizabeth Taylor's pool lounge.
The coat and the bag really shouldn't be there though. Haha.

The pocket garden of Grace Kelly.

The Windsor Castle of Wallis Simpson.

Tina Chow's disco corner!

Balesin Village and Clubhouse.

Being our home for the weekend, we stayed in Balesin Village most of our time.

We found it perfect that it is situated by the Clubhouse and our room is a few steps away from the beach.

This is my bed and how I miss it so.

My view directly above my bed. I really like the way they did the ceiling.

Our bathroom has an indoor shower AND an outdoor one right beside it. Talk about luxurious.

Right outside the room is our lanai.

Ivar and I tried the hot tub while Dennis took his daily nap.

The clubhouse is where Sakura, the Japanese restaurant is located.

We didn't get the chance to eat here but when we snuck a peek, Chef Edu-San was there to greet us.

The Clubhouse gave off a warmth feeling of home.

By our favorite pool, there's a hut where Ivar and I had our afternoon cocktails.

Costa Del Sol, Balesin.

"Ang bahay ni Madame."

This is what Dennis, Ivar and I referred it to.

Spanish themed restaurant with apartments on each side of it, is the layout of Costa Del Sol in Balesin Island Club.

Fronting the beach, Costs Del Sol has two swimming pools.

One is freshwater and the other, saltwater.

As with all the restaurants, the lanai provides an awesome view of the beach and the pools.

Below the restaurants are private dining rooms. One is a very spacious karaoke room.
Perfect for a party of 20.

We decided to dine privately in Marbella Club.

With the GM, Mr. Rene Verhulst.

We went to check out the bedrooms.

This villa is big enough for 8 people. It is 2 floors with a lanai that has another king sized bed.

After dinner, we were able to see another side of its beauty.

Perfecto in Costa Del Sol!
