Ahhhh... at Esencia Day Spa.

I don't get a massage as often as I would like. Too many events, too sleepy, too full, too expensive, too many excuses. I love getting them and I love trying out new places to experience different techniques, ambiance and even scents (that counts a lot inside a massage room).

When I got invited to try Esencia Day Spa in Solenad, Nuvali, I gladly made the trip along with my sister and girls.

Greeted by owner, Les Rabinovich, she and I instantly hit it off with our love for Morocco in common. The fact that I was just there last October and her plans on going, we had tons to talk about.

Les Rabinovich and your bloggerina.

Esencia Day Spa is located on the 2nd Floor of Ayala Mall in Nuvali. It is a small space but offers nothing but relaxation to clients.

There are private rooms and even a couple's room for those romantic day trips.

The therapists are trained by experts from The Farm. They are good at what they do and makes sure that every aching bone in your body is soothed by their own signature technique.

Aside from feeling great after the massage, you will be amazed by the price of every treatment they offer. I can't wait to go back.

Esencia Day Spa is located at Solenad 3, Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Hotel Kimberly in Tagaytay.

It was a weekend without anything planned. My family was actually trying to figure out what we could do with the kids and Dad when we thought of going to Tagaytay and stay overnight at Hotel Kimberly.

The hotel has no view of the lake but it offers a lot of activities for young kids and much needed rest for the parents.

The lobby is inviting and warm. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

They have an adorable Instagram photobooth! Cute!!!

Locally grown and organic products serve as their lobby shop.

Off to the side of the lobby, a game room for guests to enjoy, free of charge.

A huge playground and obstacle courses are laid out by the garden.

Cocktails and fresh fruit shakes may be taken at the poolside.

As if that's not enough for the kids, they have a petting zoo as well.

Feed the rabbits.

Feed and kiss? the ram!

Ride the pony!!

Carry the baby lamb.

Spot rare flowers all over the field!

When the sun is setting, the hotel staff invites everyone to roast marshmallows (provided by the hotel) by the bonfire.

A stroll around the property is the perfect way to end the day.

Thank you so much Hotel Kimberly for a very relaxing weekend.

The Pig Pen at Solenad.

The Pig Pen is another concept by The Black Pig. It is a casual restaurant that serves basic, simple and good food. It offers foodies a choice to eat freshly made dishes prepared once ordered.

Chefs Carlo Garcia and Tricia Villacorta made sure that the menu consists of nothing but the freshest ingredients.

My dad (pickiest eater in the world) says that this paella pie is the best he has ever tasted. In fact, my daughter had to go back the next weekend just to take this home to him.

You must also try the pumpkin soup. Your kids will love it

I kid you not, this Oriental Salad is my absolute favorite. The crunchy fresh leaves and the hot soft shrimp tempura on top is a perfect combination.

Fresh fruit juices are ready for you to grab and go.

The MUST have dessert is this Banana Cheesecake.

(Forgive my free WeVideo app. It's my first time to use one. Practice first.)

The Pig Pen is located at the G/F of Solenad, Nuvali Sta. Rosa.
