37 is Not Funny!

Tomorrow is my birthday.
I am waiting for more white hairs to grow.
Putting all sorts of stuff to keep the wrinkles away,
But with 1 inch make up, who's to know?

Tomorrow I will fly to Boracay.
Please help me pray for better weather.
To rest and relax, I will try,
I just want to wear rubber slippers instead of leather.

Tomorrow everyone will be nice to me
And give me lots of hugs and kisses.
But my hugs and kisses are not for free,
I will want huge red ribboned boxes.

Tomorrow I will not eat breakfast,
Because everyone will want to treat me for lunch.
I think I will pass
I will be treated by CandyMan, just a hunch.

Tomorrow, I am thirty-seven.
And it aint even funny.
I am getting closer to going to heaven,
And I still haven't gotten rid of my tummy.

Tomorrow is my birthday.
So I will probably blow a candle
Someone will shout HIPHIP-HOORAY!!!!
Stuffing my mouth with as much cake as I can handle.

Tomorrow is my birthday
To those greeting me on Facebook,
Let me remind you that it is not today.
I am still 36, even if 25 is how I look.

The Bags of the Shopaholics!

Whenever we have our anniversary, other than thinking about designs, set up, guest list, food selection and all that, one thing I am always excited about is seeing the guests and what they are wearing.

I know that a lot of my friends came to the show but because I am a just a salesperson, I didn't have time to say hello to everyone. So patiently, I wait for the photos from the photographer and see how beautiful everyone looked that day.

One thing I noticed is of course, the Hermes bags. Different colors, different styles but all really beeeaauuttiffuuulll!!!

Now, I am not much into bags but I do appreciate them just as much as I appreciate my people bangles (more on that on the next post).

Just in case one of you kind hearted people want to make me part of your H gang, I want a red one please! Hahaha!

Here are they are!!!

Thanks to the baghag for some of the photos!!!

The Making of the 31st Anniversary Celebration of JBD!

Who else would I run to for an amazing even styling but Junjun Ablaza? When I asked him if he was free to do our 31st on July 22, I was holding my breath, scared that he would say that he is busy. But when he told me that he is free, I let out the biggest sigh of relief.

I know that with him working with us, we are in good hands. I can always count on him to give JBDJS exactly what it wants. A big WOW from our clients when they enter the room.

For this event, it had to be specifically themed just for our featured designer, Ms. Lucy T. Gomez. She wanted lace, old rose, feathers and sort of Marie Antoinette-ish. It took Junjun a few days to figure out what he wanted to do and honestly, I didn't even want to know because I know that whatever he does, we will be happy with.

So here's a story of a lonely ballroom....and how it found happiness in Junjun Ablaza's brilliance.

8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

10:00 to 11:30 pm.

11:30 to 1:00 am.

1:00 to 2:00 am

At this point, I could no longer keep my eyes open so I had to leave Junjun to do his magic. I went up to my room only to be so pissed off because my yaya didn't pack me any fresh undies. (ok ok, too much information, I know). But when the sun came out, I walked into a ballroom that's filled with a wonderful feeling. I knew that the event would be truly successful not just because of Junjun's set up but because we all worked so hard for it.

Junjun my dearest, THANK YOU for being there for the Dizon's and for being my friend. Love ya!

To you readers, ENJOY!!!!
