As you may know, I just came back a week ago from a 3 week vacation in California.
In San Jose, I stayed with my aunties for 2 weeks. I have stayed here before but not when it looked like how it does now.
God must have heard my Aunt's need for a great interior designer because in comes in Michael Bello into her life.
"Your Aunt's 70's Contemporary house underwent a facelift in order to better showcase her collection of Philippine Art, and Asian Antique Furniture and Accessories," says Michael.
Although, Michael warned his clients that a "REMODEL" no matter how big or how small it is, can prove to be chaotic and disruptive to one's life when they are living in the midst of construction...my family was extremely excited to see the "Light at the End of the Tunnel". As the dust began to settle on the wooden floors of the Foyer, Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, Kitchen and Guest Powder Room, a sigh of relief echoed in the now beautiful home that Michael has so made it to be.
Please view this album to see the before and after photos.
"Decoration is the celebration of pleasing disarray...the important thing is the presence of imagination...It is more important to have style than be in a style..."
Here's what I called home in San Jose. The garden is Manang Doray's work of art.
He is currently working on our home here in Manila via internet. Can't wait to see the outcome!
