Summer Time by Vilebrequin.

French swimwear Vilebrequin finds its new home in the Philippine shores as it opens its newest store at the Bonifacio High Street Central.

Known for their original graphics and print design made by their esteemed artistic department, Vilebrequin further distinguishes its active wear with its exclusive cotton touch polyamide fabric and cotton mesh liner and refined details. Its creation of a single bathing suit involves thirty-two different stages. From the beaches of Saint-Tropez, the brand gained a following among the most distinguished celebrities, becoming the most sought-after style for those in search of the latest trends. It is also the only men’s brand born from an original focus on beachwear.

In 1996, Vilebrequin opened its first boutique, staying true to its birth place. Soon, the Saint-Tropez legend crossed the oceans to countries the world over, to collect today sixty stores in the most distinguished international locations in the world of luxury. Vilebrequin opens another store in the newest centerpiece of Bonifacio Global City (BGC)--Bonifacio High Street Central. As a growing and thriving community, BGC is the perfect place for Vilebrequin to aid shoppers as they elevate their lifestyle experience with cutting-edge designed spaces.

Vilebrequin’s uniqueness starts with the graphic originality of its exclusive prints designed by its own artistic department. It is further distinguished by its exclusive cotton touch polyamide fabric and cotton mesh liner and refined details. Its creation of a single bathing suit involves thirty-two different stages.

The Vilebrequin world includes between fifty and seventy exclusive designs that are updated twice a year. Different lines are created with a unique theme for each collection. The “Classic” line uses bold, bright colours in combination with the brand’s iconic prints: stripes, flowers, fruits and animals. The “Saint-Tropez” line, a more subtle and understated range of solids, is available in a rich palette featuring over fifty colours from pastel to dark and neutral to bright. The “Collection” line features limited edition models with fabrics embroidered in French ateliers and drawstring tips made of silver.

To celebrate its 40-year anniversary in 2011, Vilebrequin and Fabien Cousteau, grandson of Jacques Cousteau and worthy heir of an exceptional family heritage of love for sea, have joined together for a commitment to environmental protection in a tangible way. Vilebrequin is supporting Fabien Cousteau’s Plant A Fish Foundation in the reintroduction of some sea turtles, also the brand’s icon, to the environment. It is with pride that we act responsibly, focus on nature and take part in the restoration of our marine ecosystem, which represents 73% of our planet.
