Junjun Ablaza Goes Wild!

I have never seen so many people wearing animal prints under one roof before. When I entered the 7th High club, I instantly felt like roaring.

Of course, the installation of Junjun's accessory line was out of this world!! The center piece reached the ceiling and was made up of mannequins with plants and feathers on their heads. Only Junjun Ablaza can do this and get away with it. What I couldn't get away from are the outfits of the guests!!! Not that I wanted to get away but I felt stupid for not having worn mine. They showed their support and love to Junjun by wearing the attire Jun requested for. ANIMALE.

Ablaza and Sison!

SIRENs in Sison was the title of the show for the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011 last week.

It was a star studded fashion show with names like Carla Abellana, Tim Yap, Geneva Cruz, Nikki Gil, Iya Villana and many more.

Clothes were intricately designed and created by Michele Sison and accessories all by Jun jun Ablaza.

I have always known Jun Jun to be amazing at styling a ballroom but to see his wonderful accessory line is beyond me. His talent reaches far more than anyone can ever dream of. Aside from being an event stylist, he is also a GIA graduate for gemology, an interior decorator and collector of all the finest things in life.

To you both, CONGRATULATIONS for such a successful show.

On Being Mellie.

A coffee table book filled with photos and stories of THE MELLIE ABLAZA now lies on the center table of our living room. It was launched two weeks ago at NBC tent where uber event stylist Junjun Ablaza did an amazing job in creating a Mellie Wonderland.

Specially made gowns for this philanthropist and mega party thrower were spread out all over the tent with amazing family owned antique furniture that was brought just for this event.

Hundreds of guests, ambassadors included, friends and family members of the Ablaza's were present to support the book launching not only because of love for Tita Mellie but also because for every book purchased, a big bulk of the proceeds is going to UP Center for Women Studies. Gawad Kalinga, a scholarship program for Friends of CCP where Mrs. Ablaza used to be president and Congregacion del Santissimo Nombre del Nino Jesus.
