Although I admire your book drive efforts, you might want to ask your Lepanto-owning friend to just stock the school & library with books by themselves, instead of you asking from strangers through your blog. Lepanto can well afford to get the much needed books for these kids. The cost is miniscule compared to maintaining their private jet and 2 Benguet mansions. Surely, that's the least they could do after mining all those gold.

You just don't know how much Lepanto has already given and still giving to the people in Benguet. I was there, I have seen all that they have provided to them and the book drive is MY idea to get my readers to act and do something good. God bless them.
The company offers free education to almost 2,000 students in Benguet, free housing to their families and free hospitalization.
I can only hope to be as giving and generous as they are. Anyway, to help is to help regardless of the amount.
