Jacqueline for Jul Dizon.

My baby is now a lady.

As I watch her bloom every day, I have decided to have my favorite photographer, Ms. Sara Black capture her transition from being a teenager to a young lady.

A great big thanks to Omar Ermita who did her make up and Ethan David for her hair. Jewellery is by Jul B. Dizon, of course.

Phil. Star Shoot!

Finally got a hold of a copy! Thank you Bea Ledesma for including the Dizon sisters (Janina and I) to your feature entitled, "What designers are wearing on Christmas Eve."

It was a super fun shoot! Thank you for the Jollibee, ensaymada, Fit and Right pineapple, liger (Lion and Tiger merger, inside joke) and laughs. We should do it again!

The Dizon sisters, Bea Ledesma and Sara Black.

Why Jul Loves Lucy.

It was the easiest shoot ever. I mean, how difficult can it be when the subject is Lucy Torres Gomez? Her flawless skin, svelte body, luscious long soft hair and the unparalleled beauty makes her the perfect model for Jul B. Dizon.

It is our 6th year of working together and I see another 20 years more. Perhaps in the near future, my daughters will shoot Julianna Gomez and start their own colorful and gem-filled relationship.

Sara Black doing what she does best.

Jerome Chang knows exactly what Lucy wants.

The outcome of the shoot? Prepare to be AMAZED!

Thank you to Dennis Lustico for the haute couture. Your bloggerina with her present and future muse.

Candifier's New Look!

Last week I had a photo shoot for Phil. Star for an article that Bea Ledesma is writing. It was at Sara Black's studio and I was so happy that it was her doing the photography. I decided that I would put on my thick face and ask Sara if she could give me a new "look" for my blog.

This is what I got in the email last night!

I immediately texted her...

"Oh my gawd! Ang payat!" (Thinking that she photoshopped me!)

This is her reply,

"I didn't make you thinner na, I just cleaned up your eye bags, that's all you babe!"

NAKS!!!! Payat daw o!!

Anyway, I love it to bits!!

Thank you so much Bea and Sara!!!

Make A Wish, Erika!

We were eating at the lobby when Steffie pointed us to the president of Make a Wish Foundation. Jenny and I asked her to introduce us so that we may offer any kind of assistance it may need.

Khalil told us that they are going to have a small event at Salon De Ning of The Peninsula Manila where the foundation's 1000th wish will be granted.
Erika, 13, has undergone brain surgery 3 times already because of a brain tumor. Her wish is to become a fashion designer and Make A Wish decided to go all out in making her wish come true!

With the help of Teresa Herrera, Sara Black and Rajo Laurel and The Peninsula Manila, Erika's wish became a reality!

Here's Erika's twin sister, her auntie and uncle who took care of the girls.

Erika came out in a hot pink and shiny gown that she designed and House of Laurel made for her.

It also happens that last Monday was their birthday and so a HUGE cake, balloons and Peninsula mascot came out to surprise her and her twin sister.

The smiles on their faces was enough to make Joie, Jenny and I be a volunteer for Make A Wish. If you want to be part of this awesome foundation, please let me know so I can inform you when the assembly is.

What a great event!
