No Reason to Get Bored in Misibis Bay, Part 4.

In the resorts that I have stayed in in Boracay, Cebu, Davao, Bohol and others, every single move you make costs something. For example, intro to scuba, ATV, zipline, wall climbing, sailing, kayaking and other activities has a corresponding charge, per hour. It can get quite pricey if you want to have a day full of activities. But in Misibis Bay, all these things are FREE!!!

As soon as we checked in, we were given a schedule on the things that we can do, if wanted to. Of course, we said yes to all their suggestions and at the end of the day, we were truly happy campers.

On our way to zip line, we saw the amphitheatre and was shocked at how beautiful it is. Especially with the background view. Simply breathtaking.

We got to ride their ATV, which is super fun. We went up to the top of the mountain and was able to see a part of Mt. Mayon. It is my first time to see it in real life. For 38 years, I have only seen it in books and postcards. I need to seriously go back when the sky is cloudless.

We did the zipline, I was scared at first but it wasn't bad at all. So fun that honey did it twice.

We went diving and although the visibility wasn't that good, it was still fun and I saw Nemo and all sorts of colorful fish.

We skipped the kayak and sailing because we are lazy bums. AG went jet skiing instead and ripped his shorts in half when he fell off. It was hilarious. He called it, FELIX BAKAT, PRISON BREAK. I would show you a photo but I have to keep this blog rated GP.

While he was skiing away, I tried to work on my tan, spraying my Hawaiin Tropic sunblock which smells sooooo good. I enjoyed the view and this is where I realized that we really got a great suite. We have the beach view, pool and everything was just a few steps away.

If you bring your kids to Misibis Bay, they will go crazy with things that they can do. They can play in the children's lounge where there's WII and Playstation, outdoor and indoor playground. They have a huge kiddie pool. They too will have so much fun in zip line and riding the ATV.

We lounged a lot in the pool and in our own mini pool next to our room. That alone was already great.

Our second night was outdoors. Again romantic setting and service was superb. I can't really say a single negative thing about this place. It's impossible.

I see no way that the word boredom can even be mentioned in Misibis Bay. And with that, the family is already planning our trip back there.

Suite 12, Misibis Bay, Part 2

Once we entered the room, I fell in love. It's exactly what I want my room to look like. Spacious, clean, orderly, comfortable, relaxing, and did I say clean?

It is situated on top of a hill, not a hard climb at all though. It is separated from all the other rooms and villas which made it perfect. Our view was the beach. To our right is our own jacuzzi. Ok, let me just show you so you can stop imagining it.

But let it be known, if we go back here, Suite 12 is MINE!!! ALL MINE!!! BWA HA HA HAHA (evil laugh).

Misibis Bay, Part 1

First of all, before I write about my recent holiday, I want to thank Ferdi Salvador for introducing me to Diday Co-Pangilinan. It was her that assisted me in everything that I needed to make this vacation perfect. To both of you, my life would be empty...ok, I am exaggerating...but the truth is, this has been a MAGNIFICENT vacation for me and the honey and without you both, I probably would not have this experience in my Book of Awesome Holidays!


What a great way to end my multiple birthday celebrations. A trip to Misibas Bay in Legazpi City was just what I needed. Usually, I would be a little hesitant to book such a trip during habagat (rainy season) but the promo was just too hard to resist. I have heard so many things about this resort and seen beautiful photos on Facebook that I felt it was calling out to me. And boy, am I glad that I answered.

Cebu Pacific was ON TIME!!! WOOHOOO!!! That in itself is something to celebrate about. The staff were friendly, easy to talk to and efficient. I asked for leg room seats because the honey needs it and with that simple request, we got it right away. When we landed from a supposedly 55 minute ride, we were informed that we arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Not a bad thing!

We got picked up by the clean and comfortable Toyoto Grandia of Misibis Bay Resort driven by a very friendly driver. I slept most of the way and woke up only when the van had to get unto a barge for a 5 minute ride across the river. After, it was straight all the way to paradise.



The resort is clean and orderly. The receptionist walks the grounds with you to explain the structures and where to go. They all speak English very well and I couldn't help but notice their constant smile on their faces. Each and everyone of them. We were told that the recreation department will give us a schedule on activities that we can do while checked in. It is up to us if we want to participate or if we are just lazy bums and sleep under the sun all day. I love options and what they gave us are both acceptable.



These photos are not taken by a professional photographer. It is just so nice because of my honey's gift for me. I am truly loving my new SONY Nex-5.


The grounds are so well maintained that I didn't see a single dead leaf lying around. As you can see, the weather cooperated with my wishes. A little bit of sun, a lot of cloud and refreshing wind welcomed us. I got to work on my tan (got burned in the process) but very happy with the weather even if the staff were apologetic about the little rain. It's not like they could do anything about it but it was sweet of them to care that much about their occupants.












It may seem like the photos are postcards but really, it is THIS beautiful and with that, I am totally not exaggerating.



There's so much more to tell and to show you but for now, all I can say is, if you haven't been to Misibis Bay, dude, plan it now. Call them up, email them, twitter them, check out their website do whatever it takes to get you, your honey, your family, your clan to go to Misibis Bay.
