3rd Time in Metis.

First of all, let me tell you that I love the food in Kilo more than Metis but every since my BFF Rosette took me here the first time I came to Bali, it is always a must for me to visit Metis when in town. I just love the ambiance, the feel and the service. For first timers, such as my kids and aunties, I knew that it would be a visual treat for them to dine here. 

Every corner is so photogenic and I came out with about a hundred photos in my phone. 

If ever I do go back to Bali, I would definitely still make sure to visit Metis. 

Yet, another birthday dinner for my Jacqueline.

Christmas Eve is Jacqueline's Birthday.

Day 3 in Canggu happened to be Christmas Eve, which is also Jacqueline's birthday. Yup, 23 years ago, while you were all having your Christmas Eve dinner, I was in the hospital in pain, waiting for my baby girl to come out. She is truly the best Christmas gift ever. 

Anyway, back to Bali, I failed to take photos of are the art galleries that we visited. At some point, we were not allowed to take photos so it totally skipped my mind to document this part of our trip. I came home with two artworks, which is being framed now. I will show you when it is up in my room. 

In the morning, we headed down to Seminyak for shopping. Kim Soo, a very chic and beautiful cafe with a quaint home accessories department. I love every corner of this place. Prices of items being sold is also not so expensive. You must visit when in Bali. 

We also went to Seminyak Square for more shopping but I really didn't get to buy anything. I was too excited for our dinner reservation at Kilo. 

Kilo is by far, my favorite restaurant in Bali. Everything on the menu is love.

We celebrated Jacqueline's nth birthday dinner here and everyone came home with a happy tummy.

Canggu Living.

For Christmas, I decided to take my two girls and two aunties to Bali. Instead of Seminyak, we tried Canggu because I hear a lot of good things about the area. 

Luckily, I have good luck when choosing a place in Airbnb. Here are the photos to prove it. 

We must have spent 60% of our time in the pool. 

Though we had a out little complaints about the place, in general, we were all very happy with it. 

Do I recommend the place? Yes, just make sure that you tell the contact person to have the pool cleaned before check in.

Iza's Bali Bridal Shower.

I was cleaning up my photos in my phone when I chanced upon a series of shots that I have when we were in Bali for Iza Calzado's bridal shower last October. I can't believe that I haven't shared with you the fun we all had. So forgive me that this is a year late.

Noku Beach House also hosted us for dinner and I must say that this place is one of the best places you can stay in Bali. 

I'd show you more photos but I believe what happens in Bali stays in Bali.
