Wearing Maco.

What's not to love?

Maco Custodio has been making shoes since he was 20 years old. This was soon after he graduated from Philippine Footwear Academy. It was in 2008 when he stepped foot in the fashion scene when he and JC Buendia collaborated for a show in Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

Since then, he has made his mark by creating pieces from recycled foil and leather which has won him awards.

This is Gwenx. It is a Katha Award winner for best product in fashion in 2016. Silver foil woven bag is outlined by British tan calfskin leather. The foil is recycled and helps sustain the livelihood of Gawad Kalinga's Sunshineville Community in Las Pinas City.

Absolutely love my Chequitita. The outer shell is made of silver tetrapack foil, individually folded and handwoven together with calfskin leather tooling attached by screws. It's the perfect size for my daily essentials.
