Nobu Manila Unfolds.

The food was simple and delicious.

I swear I could have had three servings of the Signature Sashimi Trio (tuna tataki cilantro, yellowtail jalapeno, white fish dry miso). Make sure you order these when dining in Nobu.

The most popular Black Cod with Nasu Miso and paper thin vegetables. (Wish I had a better photo)

Wagyu Short Ribs and Crispy Mushroom Salad.

Miso Banana Bar for dessert.

The event would not have been as successful as it was without these two.
Director of the show, Robby Carmona and the host, Iza Calzado. So proud of you guys.

Jarlath Lynch was my GM when I was assigned in our shop in EDSA Shangri-la Hotel. I am so glad to have reconnected with him.

Love how Grace Ang wears her Jul B. Dizon diamond and lapiz lazuli tassel earrings. Always happy to see you and honey.

Charisse Chuidian, Mia Borromeo and yours truly.

As for Robert de Niro? Well, Every single person was trying to get a photo with him and I kinda felt bad that he had no space to breath so this is the closest I got to him. I am sure he is used to it and I envy those who have photos with him...

...but I think that this event is more about Chef Nobu more than Uncle Bobby.  I am happy he had a moment to have a photo with me.

Special thanks to Dennis Lustico for my purple dress and to Ivarluski Aseron for my hair (yup, you read right, Ivar did my hair for the night).

Thank you Charisse and Erika for always thinking of me!

CONGRATULATIONS NOBU HOTEL, MANILA!

Fiesta By The Bay.

Frank Briones sent over an invitation and the Dizon sisters all agreed to attend the event. Maybe it is because of the promise of good food or maybe because it is Frank and knowing him, there will be plenty of cute guys around.

True enough, the place was filled with food stations, about a dozen lechons from different restaurants, bite sized goodness being passed around by hundreds of waiters who were all happy to serve (it is an SM Supermalls' event after all). There was a live band, dancers and a lot of entertainment for the guests. It truly was a FIESTA by the bay.

Never seen so much lechon in one party before.

Congratulations to SM SUPERMALLS to a very successful event.

The Super Duper Mini Cooper!

It's too cute. It's adorable. It is fast and easy to handle. May be small but has enough space for my mini luggage that I need to bring with me everyday.

Guys looked at me when I drove it. They think I am cute. A car does that to you. The better the car, the better you look in it. It's science.

I want one.

"The Mini is a small economy car made by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960s.[5][6][7] Its space-saving front-wheel drive layout – allowing 80 percent of the area of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage – influenced a generation of car makers.[8] The vehicle is in some ways considered the British equivalent of its German contemporary the Volkswagen Beetle, or the Italian Fiat 500. In 1999 the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century, behind the Ford Model T." - Wikipedia

Not sure if it is still considered an "economy car" as it runs by the millions but who cares how much it is when I look good in it?

Just want to tell you that my daughter and I cleaned the car! Even that was fun!

A great big THANK YOU to Mini Cooper, Philippines for allowing me to feel the power and awesomeness of the Mini.
