Love for Laduree.

Joey Lorenzo has a delightful job. He works for one of the most popular tea salons in the world. It is where you can find the best macaroons ever and they offer much more than these small, round cakes, crisp on the outside, smooth and soft in the middle which are made in the lab in Monte Carlo and sent to different locations around the world.

With each new season, Ladurée pays tribute to this its most famous creation by creating a new flavour.

I am sure I don't have to tell you any information about Laduree. I am just sorry that we don't have one in Manila yet.

The salon in Ginza.

Loving the fact that Christian Louboutin tied up with Laduree to make special macaroons for the famous brand.

Alice in Wonderland theme. Packaging was a musical box.

All the sweets at Sophia Coppola`s movie was made by Laduree.

Loving my new carry-all bag.

I am a certified addict.

Going Back to Tokyo.

I wasn't really done with my Tokyo Diaries. Too many events happened in between that I had to put it aside but now I am ready. Especially since I saw Jason!

We met up with friends one evening and we decided to check out the bar scenery. I thought to myself...great, with half a glass, I would be ready to be dragged home. But no, I stood on solid ground. I was happy for a while but because I said no to shots, I remained calm and proper. (Ok, maybe not that calm...and maybe not that proper)

Anyway, moving on....we took an expensive cab ride to Roppongi Hills and met up with the gang in a bar called Heartland

It wasn't full but it had a pretty cool DJ and with a bit of happy liquid in me...I was bouncing up and down to the rhythm! The drinks just came to our table as if we looked like we just got out from the Sahara Dessert. I don't know how these friends of mine can drink so much yet keep their cool!!

I was trigger happy as you now will see....BUT before I do that, let me tell you that I only had 1 shot and half a glass of beer.

This is me saying, "Hotel talk is so boring..."

My Party Peeps.

And then it poured...

And we all started losing it.

And losing it more.

This is Jason saying, let's drink a LITTLE bit more?? Like this much?? And me saying ENOUGH!!! NO MORE!

And then we started going downhill....

I would do it ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Especially the cab ride home. (BWA HA HAHAHA!! Only my Tokyo Party Peeps know why)

Before the Havoc!

It was our last night in Tokyo. We were sad. We needed to party like rock stars.

For dinner, we went right across the street from Peninsula, Tokyo. COVA is the restaurant's name. It is quaint, quiet and most importantly, NEAR our hotel. My legs were about to give up from so much walking.

We were not sure if we will be meeting up with the other party peeps that evening for dinner so we decided to keep it light and simple. (In other words...nagtitipid na!! BWA HA HAHAA)

But of course, we had to have our happy liquid. Food is not as important. AA members will attest to that.

Now I am not sure if there is FREELOADER spelled on my forehead with permanent ink but the manager decides to gives us complimentary dessert!!! But then again, I think it is because of the powers of JLo that we were given one. Anyway, everything was good but the company was even better.

Afterwards, we went back to the hotel to rest and get ready to go to PETER of the Peninsula. More drinking makes the world go round! Literally.

Round 2 for the evening...but there's more to come...stay tuned...

Scones, Tea and Mojitos!

Joey decided to give us another treat in Bulgari Hotels and Resorts in Ginza. It's an exclusive rooftop restaurant/bar. With one phone call, JLo was able to get us a table.

It was a sight to behold.

I ordered a mojito at 4 pm!

Scones for Joie and Steffie.

Super strong martini for JLo.

Like tourists....nakakahiya!

Before we knew it, it was night time.

This is my dream for Jul B. Dizon Jewellery. Actually a dream of my mom that she passed on to me. A building where we have all our favorite things in.

First floor would be our pastry shop.

Second floor is the flower shop.

Third floor is the jewellery store.

Fourth would be the MEN'S Department. (This is more of my dream, not mom's)

Fifth is the rooftop bar/restaurant/lounge (much like Ravel Rooftop in NYC)

Seriously though, I want to make this happen (even without the Men's Department, sniff sniff). Looking for investors!
