Hello, Ms. Candy,
I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now, and I must say I'm a fan.
Anyway, I'd like to ask about this workshop, is this suitable for absolute beginners? I know nothing yet about jewelry designing but I've always been fascinated with it. And how much is the fee?
Thank you.
Regards,
Dea
It is absolutely suitable for beginners. This is a good first step in learning the trade and skill. I urge you to sign up.
The fee is around P1,700. You may call SOFA for more details.
Thank you for reading!
Hi Ms. Candy!
I signed up last february! I'm so excited for this one! :) I just want to ask if we will have a jewelry making session like a hands-on one? or are we having a talk for the whole 3 hours? Thank You! :D
Unfortunately, jewelry making involves acid, fire and lots and lots of tools so since that would be impossible to bring to SOFA, we will have stone recognition, how to sketch, design, measurements etc.
I will hold a mini-design competition on the last hour.
It will be fun...well, at least I hope so. :)
Hi Ms.Candy!
wow, thank you for the prompt response :)
So sorry for asking too many questions about the class :) I am working on another type of jewelry for the past four years that's why I got interested with the class. :) though my medium is nowhere near precious & semi precious hehe :D
Will we be informed about where to source materials, good goldsmith services? Thanks a lot! :)
Do you give regular trainings on jewelry making and designing? It is something that I really want to pursue.
Hi Karla, sure, just ask me on the day itself and I will try my best to answer your inquiries.
I don't usually give seminars. This will be my 2nd talk. I do hope that I can share all the information you seek during my class.
See you!
