The Red Shoe Box.

I swear to you, I must have done something really good in my past life to have the kind of friends that I have now.

If you know me, I have a million and one projects up my sleeves. It's either for Waldorf School, Alay ng Puso Orphanage, tree planting and such....And I have to tell you honestly, there's always a handful of my friends who continually provide moral and financial support to all these endeavors.

So what do I do when CYT, who donates her time and hard earned money to my fundraising projects, who never fails to reprimand me about my long pending annulment, my THEN chaotic love life and my need for the best cheesecake, sends me this wonderful red Valentino shoe box?

After hyperventilating, I was able to open the box and see these 4 inch high, nude colored Valentino shoes that sends chills up my spine.


Like Cinderella, I tried them on...slowly...


Stood up and instantly fell in love.

I sat down, took them off, wrapped them up once again and said a little prayer...

Dear God,

Thank you for giving me a Mom and Dad that molded me into who I am today. I guess they did a good job for me to deserve such good friends in my life. Please continue to bless them so that they may bless me with more awesome shoes. Also, thank you for making CYT a size 8, just like me.

When I see Tory Burch, I somehow think of you.

Here are some other pieces that made me think of you. I think they are adorable plus I am loving the colors. The clothes are something I totally see you in. Classy, easy and comfortable.

I think that maybe we need another trip to Tokyo to go shopping. But then again, we can always shop here in Greenbelt.

For Spring 2011 we thought about what felt natural and the most relevant to us right now. We focused on what makes women look and feel beautiful, on easy dressing and the idea of elegant sportif. Silhouettes are clean and simple, with a nod to the 70s. Jackets and blouses are tailored but loose; pants are either cropped and slim or long and wide; skirts hit mid-calf, a new length for us. The color palette is inspired by nature—bright pops of yellow, red and blue played against earth tones and blush. Accessories reflect this laidback spirit with oversized jute and Nantucket bags and bright, boxy leather looks. Shoes are a mix of jute platforms, woven heels and leather sandals. Jewelry includes gold hoop earrings, snake bangles and bold necklaces.

GREEN COUTURE

is one of the most exciting fashion events so far. Not only will it be hip to fashion trends but also to the great trend that is to be eco-friendly.

11 Top Designers will present their collection using only recycled materials. Great idea, right? The challenge to these designers' creativity gets doubled because they are limited to using only materials like bubble wrap, discarded stuff and packing straw.

These designers have agreed their names for this fashion event as a nod to Mother Nature and to benefit the Manila Waldorf School.

So please show these children and designers - and Mother Nature - your love. Come to Green Couture, the Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula on March 20, 2011 at 5 p.m.

This is a Sunday so this will be a fun leisurely afternoon for you.

Tickets are sold at P1,000 each.

KAOS, Watch It! Now Na!

I was delighted to have watched this show with the kids and friends. I was almost in tears with fear that one of the performers was going to make a mistake and lose his life but they came out of it alive and performed their act with perfection. It left us wanting more!

If I wanted to splurge, I would watch it again...and again.

I think this is my favorite part. It sent chills up and down my spine.

I am a leo so I instantly fell in love with the white lion. My very first time to see one in my whole life. I want one as a pet. Promise, I do.


Loved this performance to bits!!! My heart skipped so many times that I felt faint!!


These 2 men are incredibly strong. I jokingly told AG that we should practice our similar moves when we get home. He said yes, as long as there's an ambulance on stand by.



Joel Trinidad never ceases to amaze me. This is not the first time I have seen him on stage and every time I do, I always feel so proud of our Filipino talents.

Opulent Dinner at Opus!

I am thrilled that there are so many restaurants opening in Manila that offer amazing food. We now have so many choices as to where to dine with class and breathtaking ambiance.

I apologize for not having taken photos of the space, I was a drunken master after 2 sips of champagne.

But I was able to take photos of the food!!! Boy oh boy, I can't wait to go back for more. I would definitely order the same thing.

When I go back, I will be sure to take photos of the venue because you will surely want to have your next party at Opus. I know I do.
