Ferdi, Ivar and Rajo at Salon de Ning.

When I learned that my good friends' birthdays are only a few days apart, I thought it would be fun to have them celebrate it all together.

The Peninsula Manila hosted a party for them at Salon de Ning and it turned out to be such a fun evening that's filled with laughter, photo taking, drinking and dancing. Actually, a WHOLE lot of dancing. It was 80's night and even if we all look like we are in our 20's, almost all of us knew the songs by heart, which means only one thing.....

Good friends of the celebrants arrived to party and dance the night away.

Robby Carmona took over the DJ's booth and did an awesome job of getting everyone on the dance floor!

I wish I could do the swing the way Rajo and Malu can. 

To Ces, thank you for taking such great care of my gang. You are the best!!! To Peninsula Manila , last night was truly such a fun-filled party. I am so happy to be part of the family. You know who you are. 

To Ferdi, Rajo and Ivar, Happy Happy Birthday!!! 

Dinner for Four.

What happens in Hong Kong stays in Hong Kong. 

That is the vow my Hangover, Asian Edition gang took. 

We did some crazy things over there that cannot be shared to the public because we believe that we all have some kind of reputation to live up to, even if we kinda don't. 

A reunion and planning for future travels was called at T.O.R's house and the rest of us was only too  excited to see her beautiful home and to taste her cooking. 

She did not disappoint. Her home is beautiful!

And if you are more of a foodie like me, then this is for you....

For starters:

First course, Seared foie gras with baked apple compote and prunes. 

Second course, Fresh greens, watercress, crispy truffle potato strings and white local cheese.

Main course, STEAK.

I LOVE anything and everything personalized.

Tivoli, How I've Missed You.

I have a very few favorites when it comes to restaurants here in Metro Manila. 

One of them is Tivoli at Mandarin Oriental. My Mom was the one who took me here and since then, I have become an avid fan of the place. 

It also helps that I love the Mandarin Oriental staff, especially Ms. Charisse Chuidian, whose friendship I inherited from my Mom. 

The reason I love to eat here? The quality of the food, beautiful set up, amazing ambiance and wonderful service. 

The fact that my friends also love this place proves my point that Tivoli offers not only great food but a venue for creating very fond memories.

Cedric Cid's Birthday Dinner!

I know... back log. 

It's been months since this evening happened but I am only able to post it now because I have been busy. 

Anyway, Cedric, our dear friend, celebrated his birthday at Lusso and this is what we had! 

Truffle fries. 

I think this was my order and I think it was quite salty but I remember Dennis saying that it wasn't. I need to go back and try it again for a proper rating. 

It looks so much better than my photo though. I don't know what happened to me. Maybe I was too hungry to focus.
