I know, I know..... I haven't touched my blogspot in a long time now (hey, that sounds kinda kinky. hehehe)!
Anyway, I have to tell you guys that lately, I just did not have the energy to blog. I am not sure why...but thinking hard, it may be because I have already adopted a somewhat different lifestyle. I don't go to much events anymore, not even Ate Jenny's dinner get togethers and I am sure the gang is ready to pounce on me!
I think I am old. I get sleepy at 9 pm, I can't handle my 1 shot of tequila rose anymore and I just want to stay home and watch my collection of pirated Gossip Girls. Would you believe that I am only on Season 1?
I am such a loser!
Well, now that it is JULY again, you must know that it is Jul B. Dizon Jewellery's 31st Anniversary and we are having a celebration that is sure to take your breath away. We are working on that now and it is keeping me quite busy as well, which is another reason why I haven't blogged lately.
Anyway, here's something new. METRO SOCIETY, June to July 2009 issue has a feature story on sisters and guess who's on it!. Yup, the Dizon sisters.
Here's a photo of what my mom calls, "the James Bond Girls" look. Yeaaahhhh riiiggghhhtt!!!
Not really liking my super wide jaw structure here. Actually, I always prefer to smile when being photographed. I look more like ME when I smile. I don't do so well with serious faces. Not like Janina. She can carry it off because she is snobby by nature. HAHAHA!
Thank you so much to Leah Puyat for considering us for this story and for asking us super funny questions about our fist fights as young girls. Such happy memories, especially since I kicked Janina's ass! Now, I just whimper like a sad puppy so that she would throw me one of her bags.
Oh and thanks also for using Jul B. Dizon Jewellery and Janina for Jul Dizon pieces for the other sisters that were featured.
But you know Leah, you should have joined us in the photo since you are our "sister" too. :)
Don't we all look alike?
POWER TO THE SISTERS!!!!

A Goodbye and Welcome Dinner!
Welcome to a dinner that's been in my mind for 3 weeks now.
Let me start out with the spread. I have two words for it. Five pounds.
At the lobby, 5 food stations were scattered around for the guests. It was literally a food trip as I had to go around to taste the different cuisines prepared for the well wishers.
Summer Palace offered PEKING DUCK! You all know how I love PD! This was such a treat. Thank you Chef Tony Sum!
Paparazzi had a pasta station with assorted sauces. Chef Massimo Zamppar is cute too!
Senju made all the Japanese food lovers extremely happy with its selection. Here's Chef Toshi Obigani and Executive Sous Chef, Ashley Lucas.
Executive Chef, Paolo Versoni and the cold appetizers displayed on a huge ice carving was my favorite.
Of course, HEAT also did its best to add more inches to the waistline.
And finally, my favorite station....DESSERT!!! Loved their set up and choices.
One thing that I noticed about EDSA Shangri-la lately are the flower arrangements. They are huge and artistically done. It really makes a big difference.
The new General Manager of EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, Mr. Sinan Yilmaz.
The CandyMan with the GM of Shangri-la's Mactan Resort and Spa Hotel, Mr. Joachim Schutte.
The GM of Makati Shangri-la, Mr. Reto Klauser.
Your bloggerina and former EDSA Shangri-la Hotel GM, Mr. Christopher Chia and his lovely wife, Christina.
A sad farewell to you Mr. Chia and a warm welcome to Mr. Yilmaz!

Luggage Lover.
I love luggage. I have so many of them that storage is a problem but I can't help it. I LOVE LUGGAGE, especially the new ones that Kamiseta came out with.
They have 360% wheel turn capacity and it is water proof. It is light and inside, very spacious. The colors are to die for. So easy to spot them from the conveyor belt and it can match any outfit you wear. Now, that's important.
I am not sure what my favorite color combination is because they all remind me of CANDY!! (hihihi)
They sell these babies quickly and stocks are limited so if you are a luggage lover like me, better get your set now.

Dashing David's Day!
Mai was a sneak. She went behind his back and planned things without David knowing. She was texting non-stop to remind the people to be sneaky like her. Everything was hush hush because David is not supposed to know.
It would probably make a great chizmiz (gossip) if she were having an affair but the only affair that happened was when Mai threw David a surprise birthday party last Saturday.
We got there way ahead of the couple and only vegetable sticks were being served on the chic table set up with a photo of David on the vase as decor. :)
But for me, the best looking decor was this precious little girl, Alexa wearing a couture gown by Puey Quinones.
Dinner was not served yet but of course, I took a sneak peek at the food before anyone dove into them.
Mai made a slide show of David's life as a child....and I have to say, if anyone ever does this for me, I will kill them. BWA HA HA!!!
The Party Peeps and your bloggerina.
Happy Birthday David!!!!
