But when I read your entries on Camiguin/CDO-- now I'm pretty sure it was you having dinner at Bourbon St. :)

Thank you for your articles about Camiguin. It is very close to my heart since I stayed there for about a year as a volunteer teacher. I haven't been back for more than 10 yrs. though. Your article therefore was kinda sad for me-- instead of finding out that the tourist spots have "levelled up," nag-worsen pa pala. :(

I have not tried the boat directly from CDO to Camiguin. We used to take the Balingoan-Benoni route as it has shorter sea travel (1 hour only); more boat scheds; and the clincher-- the locals say that the boat engine of those coming from CDO would stop in the middle of the sea + other horror stories! Looking at your photos, well, what more can I say?

I do hope through your blog, the Camiguin tourism council or whoever is in-charge of these things can finally get some work done. No wonder they always say-- Camiguin is for back packers. E paano pupunta and big spenders if these are the facilities that welcome you! :( Sad. Sad. Sad.

-mrs. mac Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
